Kids Say the Darndest Things!

9*08-I picked Luke up from preschool and like every day, I asked him how he behaved. He told me to ask his teacher, the infamous Mrs. Jenni, so I did. Remarkably she told me that he was a very good boy that day. I asked Luke why he had decided to be such a good boy and he responded, "I just knew you've been waiting your whole life to hear that"
He was right!
7*20*08- I was fixing the chain on Luke's bike and he asked me, "Mom, are you a grease monkey?" What a kid!
5*1*08- Luke was getting ready for preschool and was so proud that he had buttoned one of the buttons on his polo style shirt that he wanted to button the very top button. When I told him that the top button was never meant to be buttoned, he was very upset and yelled, "So what do you want mom, everybody to see my CHEST?!?" I guess I should be glad he has a sense of modesty:).

Tannerisms

Brielle kept trying to use Tanner as a support so that she could stand up, but Tanner, being the loving brother he is, turned to her and said, "Don't touch me Brielle, I'm dangerous, VERY dangerous!" He wasn't joking!

We just recently attended our new ward and when I asked Tanner how he was in Nursery, he said this,
"I hit, I push, I go to time out, I a mean boy mommy."
Is there any hope with that kid?:)

*Side-Note* Tanner is equally as funny as Luke, however half of the humor in his words comes from the way he says them. Unfortunately that will most likely not be effectively represented through text alone. So, use your imagination:).
4*29*08- I caught Tanner with his fingers in Brielle's mouth and immediately scolded him. When I asked him why he did that, he replied "Brail eat'in Tanner's feeners, they licious!" I couldn't help but chuckle.
