This was Halloween . . . and various other activities

Okay, so most of you know that we are total Disneyland fanatics, but we usually say that we go so often because the kids love it so much. Well that's not the case this time. Launey and I went to a timeshare presentation in Midway a few months ago and scored two free plane tickets to LA and a free hotel room for two nights in Anaheim. So, we packed up our things, dropped the kids off at their grandparents' house and flew to sunny California. And yes, it was sunny. In fact one day it was 98 degrees, at the end of October! We had a great time and we really appreciated our parents for watching our adorable kids while we took some time to reconnect. . . . with mickey of course!

Launey loving the Disney Sweets!

The two of us on the infamous Splash Mountain

I found a load of treasure!

Launey got locked up for it :(

I am not sure where this picture is but it is somewhere in the happiest place on earth.

We scored some free mickey ears, yes I know we look like geeks.

Launey apparently very frightened as we waited in line for Indiana Jones

How cute is this Jack-o-Lantern!

Okay, on to the children. These pictures are actually from our annual Ivers Family Halloween Bash which took place about a week or so before Halloween. I have actual Halloween pictures but the are on my memory card, in my camera, in the car. So, these will have to due.

Brielle was the cutest little ballerina ever!

Tanner was SUPER TANNER. He didn't want to be anything for Halloween except "just Tanner" but we got him to amp it up a little bit.

Luke was totally in his element dressed as a zombie, check out the zombie pose!

One more picture of my tiny dancer. Please ignore the messy shirt, it got that way from a variety of Halloween activities.

I want to go to Disneyland right now. I mean it. I am ready. What cute pictures! I cracked up at your kids costumes. Especially Luke. He looks so old! (And I don't mean that because Zombies are old. I really mean he is growing up :)

How fun! Your little one's look so cute for Halloween. That is so funny that Tanner wanted to be him. I bet it was so nice to get away with just Launey. I've finally realized how important and nice it is to go somewhere without a kid.

I LOVE Disneyland! I wanted to go there so bad for our Honeymoon and Jeff thought that was the lamest thing he ever heard of. When he finally did take me there he said, "If I would have known you loved it this much I would have brought you for our honeymoon!" Grrrr! So glad you got to go!

I love that you posted about all your family. I finally started Alexis a website of her drawings. I hope you don't mind I kinda copied your darling idea to make him his own website. My family has loved to see her drawings. It was such a great idea you had! Your kids are adorable!

Hi this is Launey's cousin Nicole. I just found Shane and Jennifers blog and then I saw yours on their page. I know you don't know me very well so I hope you don't think I'm weird but I would like to get to know my cousins families a little better since we hardly ever see each other. Anyway I hope you don't mind that I read your blog and I think you have three of the cutest kids I have ever seen. Our blog is njlouisiana.blogspot.com if you want to check it out.

Looks like you guys had a fun time at Disneyland! I can't wait to take Addison there when she gets a little older, it really is the happiest place on earth!! You guys will have to come see her soon. I'm taking her to her pediatritian Thursday and I'm going to ask him if it's okay to have visitors. I think the Drs at Timp hospital just made us a little too paranoid about things... Hey make sure you leave your email address on our blog since we're going private soon.
